A (Not So Much of a) Bear of a Move
Well, if you're keeping count this is about the 1023rd iteration of this site. I moved it on over to Bear.
Why, you may ask? I still very much love 11ty and will continue to find use cases for it and probably design some other sites with it. In fact, I'm working on a redesign of our County's Democratic party's website with it. But for my blog, I found there was more friction between writing a post and publishing a post than I wanted.
It was mostly being able to post when or wherever I wanted. With Bear, I can log in from somewhere on just about any device, write up a post, click Publish, and move on with my day while fretting constantly about whether posting was even necessary or worth it (THANKS, ANXIETY).
Anyway, I'll be fine-tuning some of the design here over the next few days, though I'm mostly happy with where it's at at the moment.
