Update. I went nuclear. I moved my nameservers to cloudflare and … am receiving mail again.

Really thinking about rebuilding my political campaign website with - you may’ve guessed this - @eleventy. I think it’d help be able to regularly add updates, etc. I have a few years until I NEED it but no time like the near present.

Still not propagating but now I have the transfer code to move the domain from squarespace. Do I venture that now or stay patient a bit more to see if it propagates?

(But don’t feel bad for me - I did this to myself.)

It’s one of those days where when Google Domains was shutting down and migrating everything to squarespace, I should’ve moved it out of there altogether (a domain we’ve had for over a decade). Propagation is incredibly slow, changing nameservers isn’t working, and support is non-existent. Here comes Sunday!

(The main issue at the moment is changing the nameservers back and I’m in a propagation holding pattern)

The plus side of running into issues setting up mail-in-a-box and reverting back today is that my email’s been down for like 6 hours 😃

Ha ha - now I’m thinking mail-in-a-box maybe I need more sleep
